You may request (reserve) an item through the
Library Catalogue. You will need your membership number and PIN.
Your membership number is the 14 digit number on your library card. To obtain a PIN number, phone us on 3484177 or call in to the library. Have your library card with you, tell us your birthdate and what 4 digit PIN number you want.
A $1.00 reserve charge is payable on collection of all adult items, CD-ROMs and toys. There is no charge for reserving children's and teens' items, except for CD-ROMs and toys.
When the requested item is available you will receive a notice in the mail, or by email if you have told the library you prefer email notification. You have 7 days from the date of the notice to collect your item from the library. If you fail to pick it up, payment is still required.

How to request an item through the Library Catalogue
Search for the item. If you want the first available copy, click on the Request Item icon next to the title you want.
If you want a specific copy, e.g. a particular issue of a magazine, click on the title you want, then scroll down the Availability page until you find the copy you want. Click Request Item beside the copy you want.
Type in your barcode number. This is the 14 digit number on your library card. Do not put spaces between the numbers. Type in your PIN (it will show as asterisks). Click on Login. Follow the instructions on the screen to action your request.
When you have finished placing any requests you want, remember to LOGOUT of your account.
