Library visitors were treated to a great afternoon's entertainment at the recent TEENS TALENT QUEST finale held recently at the Library. The event capped off weeks of auditions where staff were constantly amazed at the talent on offer in Rotorua. But there could be only one winner...

Fifteen acts made it to the grand finale where a very diverse range of acts were performed in front of a good crowd of supporters. From a hip-hop dance group to solo performers, the acts were all very well done. There were some stand-out performers including Jun Lee who did a medley of songs with singing and tap-dancing - his professionalism very obvious. Another performer, Eleanor Covell did a beautiful rendition of "Walking in the Air" while sisters, Bethany and Laura Stevenson looked and sounded great with their song, "Falling Apart". Third Place went to Unit-y who performed a lively dance routine which went down very well with the audience.
Second Place went to Te Waikamihi, a beautiful singer who sang "Ave Maria", the Beyonce version which the judges said Beyonce would have been proud of.
and FIRST PLACE was awarded to Emmiline Henry, a young lady with a great future in music we're sure. Emmiline sang her own songs and played the guitar and had the audience captivated.
