Vendela Patrick is our Arts
Space exhibitor this July. Her paintings are already catching the eye of
many library visitors.
paintings of artist Vendela Patrick have been featured in solo and group
exhibitions in galleries and public displays.
As a self-taught artist, she
continued a path in the art industry to gain an Art and Design Diploma. Her art
can be found in public and private collections.
Vendela's work is primarily the
result of her need to paint. It is both a challenge and an outlet; a discipline
and a passion. She is mostly inspired by today's Māori culture and the
diversity of New Zealand's society.
Vendela's art work is for sale. Anyone interested is welcome to contact Vendela via email or her Facebook page.
Toi Tangata is a display space especially for local, amateur artists to exhibit their art. There is no charge but you do need to book ahead. If you would like to show your work in Toi Tangata, visit our Exhibition Spaces page for more information.
