Our eMagazines are available from PressReader and Zinio.



Zinio allows you to download, read and keep current and back issues of popular New Zealand and international magazines.

Visit our Zinio Library and then create your own Zinio account to be able to download eMagazines.

Press Reader

Press Reader gives free access to the full content of over 500 magazines as well as 2000 newspapers from over 100 countries in over 60 languages.​

Visit Press Reader and login with your library barcode number and PIN. Once signed in with your library card, you can create your own account with your email address to customise your daily news reading experience.



Zinio Set Up Guide

1. Visit our Zinio Library

2. Create your own Zinio account

  • Click "Create new account" at the top right-hand corner of the page.
  • Enter your library card barcode number.
  • Create (and remember) your password
  • Click "Create account".

3. Check out an eMagazine

  • Search or browse for an eMagazine.
  • Click on the cover of the eMagazine you have selected.
  • Click "Check out".


Reading eMagazines on your computer

As long as the browser you are using is modern enough, you can just click “Start reading” and read online (If you want to read the magazine offline, open the Zinio Reader 4 programme).


Reading eMagazines on smartphones or tablets

Open the appropriate App for your device and download the magazine.

The Zinio for Libraries Apps for Android, iPad, iPhone, Windows 8 and some other devices are available on the Zinio Library.
