Location and hours
Location
Rotorua Library is established in Te Aka Mauri, between Haupapa and Arawa Streets. Our front entrance faces out to Jean Batten Square which has been extensively landscaped to include a unique children's playground and green space for relaxation.
Parking is available on both streets and there are several Mobility Parking spaces on Haupapa Street next to Te Aka Mauri. Longer term parking is available in the car park across Haupapa Street. The local bus services operates from the Arawa Street end of Te Aka Mauri which services urban Rotorua.

The Heritage & Research area on the 2nd Floor is CLOSED on Sundays |
The Library is CLOSED on all Statutory Holidays
Returns
All library items, except toys, can be returned through the after hours returns slots at any time of day even outside of library opening hours. These are located at each end of Rotorua Library facing the Jean Batten Park.
