Library Activities Online

Rotorua Library, Te Aka Mauri is currently OPEN.

These past months have been extraordinary in many ways for all of us!  While the Library was in lock-down mode, the staff were working from home to provide as much online content as possible to keep people informed and entertained. On this page you'll find some of the activities we were running during this time.

Rotorua Matangi Rau:  Stories of Rotorua

Introducing our new winter series of talks with authors, the first being an interview with critically acclaimed author, Josh Pomare.

Many of our suppliers have been working with us to provide more products for our eLibrary due to increased demand.  If you do not have a current Library card, you can sign up for Digital Membership and access our eLibrary content immediately.

Organisations like Ancestry Library Edition have offered FREE access to their site until 31 July (revised date).  This site is usually only accessable while at the physical library.)  One of the Heritage & Research team, Graeme, has made an excellent video to help those starting out with Ancestry Library Edition.  Check it out by clicking on the picture and/or log in HERE.
