Local Researcher and Historian, Ben Manley presents TWO talks this month to mark the occassion of the signing of the Fenton Agreement on the 25 November 1880.

About Ben Manley:
Ben is of Ngāti Whakaue and Ngāti Maniapoto. He was employed by the Māori Land Court for seven years as a case manager and is currently working for the Rotorua Lakes Council as a Research Specialist where he provides research assistance and advice on a wide range of issues, including Māori land tenure. Ben has given numerous presentations at Te Aka Mauri including talks on The Fenton Agreement (Rotorua's Founding Document), The History of the Te Arawa Soldiers' War Memorial and more recently Te Akatea: A winter lecture series.
