Tamariki invited to attend reo Māori workshop for Lakefront play space
Rotorua Lakes Council invites tamariki/children to attend a creative workshop held in te reo Māori to help shape the design of the new play space that will be part of the Lakefront development.
The workshop will take place this Saturday (16 February), from 10.30am to 12pm, in the Discovery Space on the second floor of Rotorua Library, Te Aka Mauri. The workshop is best suited to tamariki six years and older. All materials will be provided at the workshops and there is no need to register, just come along and join in. While the workshop will be held in te reo Māori, tamariki who speak other languages are welcome to attend.
A summary of the workshops will be developed and Council will provide updates as work on the Lakefront development progresses.
