Library members can download and borrow eBooks for free. You will need your library card barcode and PIN to access eBooks.
We have two collections of eBooks for you to choose from, BorrowBox and Wheelers ePlatform.

has a selection of eBooks and eAudiobooks for adults and children. Borrow up to
8 eBooks and 8 eAudio titles at a time.

Wheelers ePlatform has our largest selection of eBooks for adults with a focus on New Zealand fiction and non-fiction titles.

8 eBooks and 8 eAudio titles can be borrowed for 14 days. A brief user guide is available. You can place a reserve on any item which is out on loan. You can preview both ePUB and PDF formats before downloading. BorrowBox eBooks and eAudiobooks are not compatible with Kindles.
Tablet/mobile device: Download BorrowBox Library app from Google play or the Apple App Store.
Sign in details:
- Library - Rotorua Library (Infoshare - Rotorua, Western Bay and Whakatane)
- Barcode Number - Your library card barcode (2320000XXXXXXX)
- PIN - Your library PIN number
Kindle Fire: This is the only Kindle device compatible with BorrowBox. Follow the steps here to install the BorrowBox app.
Computer/laptop: Step-by-step guides are available for accessing eBooks and eAudiobooks through your computer or laptop.

6 eBooks titles can be borrowed for 14 days. Titles are available in ePUB format, with some PDFs. They are not compatible with Kindles.
