Stepping Up 

If you want to get started with computers or try out a new programme or app then these sessions are for you.
A variety of topics are covered, including Skinny Jump​.  We are running the sessions like a drop-in clinic so if you have a particular query on any techical issues (see examples below), we'll do our best to help you out.
Topics include but are not restricted to:

Skinny Jump - help to get online if you have no internet connection.  See more below.
Skype - how to communicate by live video with other people anywhere in the world.
Google Drive
Introduction to Chrome Books

Drop-In Session Times

11am-12pm Mondays to Thursdays 
2pm on Sundays  

in the Internet Room on the First Floor.  We now continue to run these sessions​ during school holidays.


What is Skinny Jump?

Skinny Jump workshops are for families with children up to the age of 18 who do not have an internet connection in their homes. You will be issued with a free wifi modem and an initial 30GB of data. There is no fixed contract - just top up with $5 for 30GB when you can.

Please  bring with you your email address and password with you, if you have one, so that you can set up your prepay account.
