Interloans
Inter-library loans are available to all Rotorua Library members, enabling access to books and resources held by other NZ libraries. The National Library's Te Puna Search will show if an item is available.
Interloan borrowing
The loan period for interloan items depends on the loan period of the lending library and postage time. You will receive a due date at the time the item is issued to you.
Renewals are sometimes possible for interloan items. You will need to contact a member of the Heritage and Research team to request a renewal prior to the item due date.
Please Note: renewals are at the discretion of the lending library .
Interloan charges
Interloans incur a fee of $21 (fee increased July 2023) per item payable when the item arrives for you.
Provision of copies of single journal articles cost from $5-10.
