Using the Site Without a Mouse

The site can be used without a mouse. There are shortcut keys that will take you to commonly used pages such as the home page and the search page.

For PC Users Using Internet Explorer:

Press the ALT key and the access key at the same time, release both keys, and press Enter. For example, pressing ALT + 2, releasing, then pressing Enter will take you to the site map.

For PC Users Using Firefox:

Press the ALT key, the Shift key and the access key at the same time. For example, pressing ALT + Shift + 2 will take you to the site map.

For Mac Users Using Internet Explorer:

Press the Control key and the access key at the same time, release both keys, and press Enter. For example, pressing CTRL + 2, releasing, then pressing Enter will take you to the site map.

For Mac Users Using Firefox:

Press the Control key, the Shift key and the access key at the same time. For example, pressing CTRL + Shift +3 will take you to the search page.

Use of Text on the Site

If you find the text size on this website is too small or too large to read comfortably, you can change the size of the text via your browser. You can also specify the font styles, colours, and foreground and background colours. The way you do this varies from browser to browser.

(Please note - some PCs will allow you to increase text size simply by holding down the 'control' and 'alt' keys and using the wheel in the middle of the mouse to make the text larger and smaller.)

You can increase the size of text on the screen by following the instructions below.

Browser Instruction
Internet Explorer Select the 'View' menu, then 'Text Size', and then your chosen size (or if you have a mouse wheel simply hold down CTRL and roll the mouse wheel to alter the text size.
Firefox, Safari Hold down CTRL and press + or - to alter the text size.
Opera Select the 'View' menu, then 'Zoom', and then your chosen size (or if you have a mouse wheel simply hold down CTRL and roll the mouse wheel to alter the text size
