Suggest we buy
If you can't find a title in the library's online catalogue you can suggest it for purchase.
You need to be a Rotorua Library member to use the supplier's link.
When you suggest a book you can also let us know if you would like to place a reserve on the title if we buy it. Reserves may incur a reserve charge.
Purchases are subject to the criteria in our collection management plan and availability is not guaranteed.
How to suggest a title for purchase
We have a collection management plan that guides the type of books we purchase for the library so we will refer to that when deciding whether to purchase your suggestions. We also need to check whether the book is readily available from our suppliers.
There are two ways you can suggest a title:
- using the Supplier Shopping Basket, or
- completing our Suggestion for Purchase form at the bottom of this page
