Community Archives
The role of the Community Archive is to collect, preserve and share the diverse stories of Rotorua for the benefit of the whole community – now and in the future.
The archive comprises the records of local community groups, organisations, businesses and individuals. Strengths include Don Stafford’s extensive research notes and the records of local women’s organisations.
Descriptions of every collection can be found on Pakiaka: Rotorua Heritage Online.
To access these precious records, simply visit the second floor. Staff will help you view items in a special area of the Don Stafford Room.
