Robotics
We are offering two programmes this term: Introduction to Robotics and Robotics Mechanisms for participants aged 10 to 17 years old.
Introduction to Robotics
7- Week Workshop
Tuesdays, 3.45–4.45pm
Starting 19 May
The Introduction to Robotics is a hands-on programme designed for participants to learn how robots work. Using VEX kits, participants will build, control, and code their own robots while completing fun challenges in teams.
No prior experience is required. This programme aims to develop confidence, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills in a supportive environment.
Robotics Mechanisms
7- Week Workshop,
Wednesdays, 3.45-4.45pm
Starting 20 May
This robotics programme focuses on enhancing robot performance through mechanical design. Participants will explore gears, lifting systems, and movement while designing, testing, and refining their robotics builds. Each session includes practical challenges that develop problem-solving skills, teamwork, and engineering thinking.
Supported by VEX V5 STEM Labs, this programme is ideal for those with basic robotics experience looking to take the next step in their learning.
The cost is $70 per programme for each term, and spaces are limited.
Scholarships are available for eligible applicants.
