Study facilities on Paparua, the Second Floor

There are numerous areas to suit those who are wanting space to study, including individual and group study space.

There are two private study rooms designed for one to two people. They are available for researchers on request from the library staff.

Wifi and device charging

There are multiple power outlets to plug your devices into and free wifi accessible throughout Te Aka Mauri. Connect to Rotorua Public Wi-Fi, then agree to the terms and conditions. There is no password required.

You can access the library catalogue and recommended online resources on one of our public computers. Two of these computers offer web browsing but they do not come with software programmes such as Microsoft Word (Google Docs is recommended). Use of the computers is on a first come, first served basis.
