The Heritage and Research Team is here to help. A drop-in service is available at all times on the second floor. Find a welcoming space in which staff will introduce you to resources. Genealogy support
Our skilled second-floor staff can help you get started with your genealogy research. They will show you how to use genealogy databases – including Ancestry Library Edition – and provide you with helpful tips and advice.
Family history research assistance
Volunteers from the Rotorua Branch of the New Zealand Society of Genealogists offer a drop-in service to people researching their family history. This is held on the Second Floor of the Library.
This service is held on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month from 10am to 12pm.
