Holiday Reading Adventure
The Winter Holiday Reading Adventure map is available to download HERE, or pick up a printed copy at the library.
This programme runs from 29 June to 25 July 2026.
All entries must be returned to Rotorua Library, Te Aka Mauri by 4pm, 25 July 2026.
Participants track their reading on the map of Lake Rotorua. Each 15 minutes of reading equals one step. A minimum of 6 hours of reading is required to enter the prize draw.
The more you read, the more entries you receive in the draw. Reading more than 12 hours will automatically enter participants into a bonus prize draw.
We’re encouraging grown-ups to get involved too, so ask them to read to you. It’s great fun and counts towards your reading hours.
